I received a lot of great reader feedback from Ohio.

Kathy Prine Fath was kind enough to send me some old photos of Beaver Creek where she grew up-the setting for Ohio. Unfortunately they were not clear enough to use in my newsletter, but here is a photo of David K. Fath, Jr., presenting Ohio to his mother for her birthday. Kathy mentioned that one of her fond memories growing up in Beaver Creek was sledding on a hill in a very large cow pasture behind the cemetery. On very rare occasions a lucky sledder would pick up enough speed on the way down to continue his ride on across the frozen swamp that ended just at the bank of the Beaver Creek. Fortunately no one ended up in the creek.

Presently my husband and I are building a new house. We are really excited because the lot is 2 ½ acres in beautiful desert surroundings. Everyone who builds in this area must keep a portion of their lot in natural desert. We will have a guesthouse, which I hope to open up to other writers.

As far as writing, I am undergoing the process of finding an agent. I would rather spend my time writing than looking for publishers. The novel that started out as a sequel to Keeper of Hearts, previously referred to as Thy Brother's Keeper has been revised and changed to The Baron's Secret. It was put on the shelf for awhile as we were busy with Rachel's wedding, The birth of our granddaughter and planning for our new house project. But I am writing full-time again, and loving it!

I've so many ideas! I've started a sequel for The Baron's Secret, but also have other ideas I'm pursuing. Once I get an agent, I would like to write at least one book per year, devoting more time to writing. Please pray for me that I'll make the right match with an agent and keep checking back to see what's new!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Pray with me as I search for an agent.
